• Oversee site-wide compliance and health & safety procedures across a commercial environment.
• Review, prepare and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to ensure safe systems of work are in place.
• Issue and manage permits to work, ensuring all contractor activities are compliant and controlled.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits to maintain high safety standards.
• Monitor compliance with current health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Investigate incidents, produce reports, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Work closely with management, engineers, and contractors to promote a strong safety culture across site.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification (desirable).
• Previous experience in a compliance or health & safety role within a commercial or facilities environment.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, audits, and risk management processes.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
