An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a high-profile commercial facility in the City of London. What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
- Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated plant.
- Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure across the site.
- Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance and statutory regulations.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and support the wider engineering team to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard.
- Support small project works, system upgrades, and continuous improvement tasks when required.
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
- Experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- HV Authorised Person status or experience working around HV systems (desirable).
- A proactive and professional approach with strong communication skills.
- £60,000 per annum salary
