Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Coventry
Salary: £32,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, Split Day Shift
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at a well-maintained commercial facility in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their career within building services in a stable Monday-Friday position, with ongoing training and clear progression routes.
 
What you'll do:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
• Support with both mechanical and electrical first-line maintenance, ensuring plant such as HVAC systems, lighting, pumps, motors, and associated equipment operate efficiently.
• Undertake a variety of fabric maintenance duties including basic plumbing, painting & decorating, door and lock repairs, fixtures & fittings, and general site upkeep.
• Respond to faults and breakdowns, carrying out initial diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
• Accurately update job records, complete reports, and assist in improving maintenance procedures.
• Work closely with the wider engineering team, contractors, and site stakeholders to maintain high standards across the facility.

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience within building services or commercial facilities maintenance.
• A practical, hands-on approach with good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to carry out a range of general building fabric repairs.
• A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
