What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
- Support with both mechanical and electrical first-line maintenance, ensuring plant such as HVAC systems, lighting, pumps, motors, and associated equipment operate efficiently.
- Undertake a variety of fabric maintenance duties including basic plumbing, painting & decorating, door and lock repairs, fixtures & fittings, and general site upkeep.
- Respond to faults and breakdowns, carrying out initial diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
- Accurately update job records, complete reports, and assist in improving maintenance procedures.
- Work closely with the wider engineering team, contractors, and site stakeholders to maintain high standards across the facility.
- Previous experience within building services or commercial facilities maintenance.
- A practical, hands-on approach with good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to carry out a range of general building fabric repairs.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
