Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Continental Shift Pattern
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a modern commercial facility in Cambridge. What you'll do:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and associated building services plant.
  • Work on systems including HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and general plant room equipment.
  • Support with fault finding, repairs, and maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and downtime is minimised.
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all works carried out and ensure site procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver a high level of service to building occupants and management.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within a commercial building or critical environment.
  • Recognised mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
