Position: Mobile Electrical Engineer
Location: Dover and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management provider, carrying out maintenance and inspection works across a variety of commercial sites in Dover and the surrounding areas.
 
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical works, as well as undertaking testing and inspection duties. This is a mobile position, offering variety day-to-day as you support a range of commercial environments.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out PPMs and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites
• Completing testing & inspection duties in line with 2391 requirements
• Diagnosing faults, undertaking repairs, and ensuring systems remain compliant
• Supporting minor installation and upgrade works where required
• Ensuring all work is delivered safely and in line with current regulations
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation

Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition certified
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within commercial building maintenance or FM
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
